Product Description

Sippy Sure® is a patented spill-proof medication dispensing Sippy Cup designed to help parents give medicine to their sick children easier and with less stress! Sippy Sure® is made of high impact FDA food grade plastic. It is BPA free and dishwasher safe.

Children ages 1-5, can be the most difficult to give medicine to. Sippy Sure® has a separate medicine cup inside that holds medicine and as the child drinks a drink from the cup the medicine is mixed with the drink and administered to the child. The medicine and the drink are kept separate at all times until the child actually takes all the medicine. You can see at anytime how much medicine the child has taken by looking at the calibrated medicine bottle inside the cup. The medicine bottle will be marked with ml and tsp calibrations for easy measuring of medication. The cup can be used as a regular sippy cup by removing the medication cup.

We recommend you use Sippy Sure® as your child’s everyday sippy cup. Don’t wait until your child is sick to use it. Sippy Sure® can easily be used as a normal sippy cup by just removing the medicine cup and storing it in a safe place. This way when your child is sick, it is the same cup they have been used to using and love! Using it only when your child is sick may allow your child to associate this particular cup with being sick and getting medicine.

Approximately 72% of parents report that their children have had trouble taking medicine, that’s approximately 15 million children in the US. 65% of parents feel that their child does not get all or the accurate amount of medicine when given. Sippy Sure® helps in solving these problems!

Suggestions for best performance of your Sippy Sure® cup:

To ensure that your Sippy Sure medicine dispensing sippy cup functions most efficiently please consider the following suggestions.

  • Please remember to always check before every use that the valves have not become stuck together and open as this may occur with the use of medicine. If necessary, use a tootpick to separate the valves to ensure proper function of the cup!
  • Always fill the cup with 8 ounces of the child’s favorite drink.
  • Consider picking a drink with a similar flavor to the medication being given.
  • When giving medicine, avoid drinks with bland tastes such as water, milk, etc. as they are less likely to conceal the taste of the medicine.
  • Avoid the use of carbonated drinks or juices with pulp.
  • If giving thick liquid medicine, dilute the medicine with water. Thus if giving 1 tsp of medicine, then add 1 tsp of water and mix. This helps the medicine flow smoothly.
  • Give medicine with drink at mealtime as they are likely to drink enough drink to get all of the medicine given.
  • Always check within 15-30 minutes to make sure the child has taken all of their medicine
  • The cup is designed to become more difficult to get drink from after all the medicine has been given. If your child states they cannot get any drink out, then you know that they have received all of their medicine. Simply remove the medicine bottle inside and the child can continue to drink from the cup as a normal sippy cup.
  • Do not use in the microwave.
  • Keep the cup upright to make sure it stays spill and leak-proof.
  • Sippy Sure® is spill and leak-proof when used as recommended.
